I am Marcin Biszczanik, a Cloud and Platform Consultant working in Azure, infrastructure as code, and DevOps, based in Poland.

I help enterprises design Azure platforms and migrate to the cloud without losing control of what they build. My focus is the hard-to-reverse part of cloud work: landing zone design, identity, governance, and infrastructure as code. My background is platform engineering and DevOps at enterprise scale: hybrid estates of several hundred VMs and App Services in 24/7 environments, identity governance for 10,000+ users across hybrid Active Directory and Entra ID, and zero-downtime migrations of business-critical workloads. I am certified as an Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700), and Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).

What this blog is about

This blog documents the decisions behind Azure platform work, not just the implementation. Most technical content explains how to deploy something; I am more interested in why one option wins over another, what the trade-offs were, and what I would decide differently next time. Expect articles on Azure Verified Modules, landing zones, Bicep, IaC governance, migrations, and the methods I use to make and record those decisions.

A note on anonymization

I work with enterprise clients under confidentiality obligations. Nothing on this blog describes a specific client, engagement, or environment. Examples come from my own public repositories or are written as generic patterns. Where I cite facts about the Azure ecosystem, I date them, because the ecosystem moves faster than blog posts age.
